Privacy and personal information

We have minimized the use of personal data, and to the extent provided to us, we treat it confidentially. Personal data is limited to work email addresses and participant names, which are necessary to provide login credentials and associate individuals with their organizations.

The entire data processing takes place within Europe (servers located in Germany).

Due to DeSNapp's focus on groups, topics, and organizations, participant names are not automatically visible. The names of other DeSNapp participants are only visible within "my organization" (your direct colleagues) and within "my groups" (your team members).

DeSNapp is committed to respecting human rights and avoiding complicity in human rights violations. We reserve the right to remove content posted on DeSNapp.

What do we measure in DeSNapp?

With this version of DeSNapp, we measure the following, anonymized, across the total participant population:

• Are visitors returning?
• What are they using on DeSNapp?
• Are new groups being formed?
• Is the user population growing?
• Are there visible patterns in the ecosystems of organizations and topics?
• What can we learn from the data streams of DeSNapp?
